How I Support You
There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to healing. You’re not a diagnosis or a label. You’re a layered, whole human with a story that deserves care.
At Transformations Counseling, I offer a range of evidence-based therapy approaches, also known as treatment modalities, designed to support healing across mind, body, and spirit. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, attachment wounds, codependency, depression, or spiritual abuse, we’ll work together to find what resonates most with you.
From somatic therapy and EMDR to Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based work, and inner child reparenting, each approach is thoughtfully chosen to support nervous system regulation, emotional insight, and deep personal transformation.
Below are some of the core therapy approaches I use in my practice:
EMDR Therapy
For those moments (or memories) that feel stuck on replay. EMDR helps your brain and body move through trauma so you don’t have to stay in survival mode.
Somatic Experiencing (SE)
This body-centered approach helps regulate your nervous system and teaches your body what safety actually feels like. If you’ve ever felt “on edge” for no reason—this could be a game changer.
Post Induction Therapy (PIT)
PIT gently addresses childhood wounds and the “stuff” that shaped your sense of self early on. Ideal for untangling codependency, attachment wounds, shame, and emotional patterns that don’t serve you anymore.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Ever feel like one part of you wants something, while another part is screaming “absolutely not”? IFS helps you get to know and heal your inner parts so you can live with more clarity and compassion.
Therapy Dog Support (Charlie)
Charlie is my trained therapy dog and a calm, steady presence in sessions. His companionship can ease anxiety, support nervous system regulation, and help you feel safe—especially during emotionally heavy work.
